Mark Brown Workshop

Location: Hui No'eau Visual Arts Center, Makawao, Maui
Mark is a plein air painter based on Oahu, he is a featured and award winning artist in the Maui Plein Air Invitational each year. Born and raised in Hawaii, Mark's love to the Hawaiian Islands and people are evident in his paintings, a majority of which are done on-site outdoors.

Join Mark Brown for oil painting on location. Mark is a plein air painter based on Oahu, he is a featured and award winning artist in the Maui Plein Air Invitational each year. Born and raised in Hawaii, Mark’s love of the Hawaiian Islands and people are evident in his paintings, a majority of which are don on-site outdoors. In his workshop students will learn how to create a landscape from bare canvas to finished oil painting, while Mark shares his techniques, experience and love of the outdoors and scenic Upcountry Maui. Mark will cover pallet layout, color mixing and other key oil painting techniques.
Fee: $215 ($258 nonmember)
